About The Position

The AERO Specialties Assembly Technician is responsible for building a variety of specialized equipment such as tow bars and lavatory carts used in servicing aircraft. This position is not an assembly line role and requires the Technician to build a unit from start to finish utilizing a variety of tools and methodologies.

Requirements

Experience using hand and power tools is necessary
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Ability to operate a forklift and/or complete our internal forklift training program

Nice To Haves

Aviation parts experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Utilize hand tools and other equipment to complete the build of AERO products
Follow build procedures to ensure each unit meets company and customer specifications
Ensure each unit meets quality standards, check units for defects and accuracy
Follow documentation requirements to ensure proper tracking of units through the build process
