About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site, first shift Assembly Technician role located in Greater Milwaukee. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, following assembly instructions, quality control inspections, and ensuring product consistency and adherence to industry standards while collaborating as part of a production team to meet project timelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Three to five (3-5) or more years of related Production Assembly experience
  • Strong understanding of cable prints
  • Understanding of different forms of measurement
  • Organizational and time management skills are essential
  • Knowledge of product shelf life
  • Knowledge of ISO and ASO standards
  • Ability to define problems with resolution in mind
  • Must be strongly process oriented
  • Available to start in 1-2 weeks

Nice To Haves

  • Detailed soldering experience preferred
  • Some experience in ERP systems
  • Microsoft knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assembling mechanical and electrical components using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment
  • Interpreting technical drawings
  • Following assembly instructions
  • Performing quality control inspections
  • Ensuring product consistency and adherence to industry standards
  • Collaborating as part of a production team to meet project timelines
  • Building/assembling individual cable assemblies and kits
  • Ensuring safety compliance with all assembly/production equipment
  • Communicating with engineering for production planning and lead times
  • Performing material handling, including inspection, pulling parts, cable cutting, label printing, and awareness of counterfeit parts
  • Keeping the assembly/production area FOD free
  • Multitasking
