About The Position
Join our team as a Mortgage Processor and play a key role in helping borrowers achieve homeownership. You'll manage loans from application through closing, working closely with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and third-party partners to keep every file moving efficiently and on schedule. Success in this role comes from strong organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience every step of the way.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of mortgage loan processing experience.
- Experience processing Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loans.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage guidelines, documentation requirements, and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and delivering excellent customer service.
- Associate's degree (required) or 0-2 years of professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential mortgage loans from application through closing, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
- Review and verify loan documentation, including income, assets, and supporting financial records, for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and submit complete loan packages to underwriting and work to clear outstanding conditions.
- Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to keep loans on schedule.
- Monitor deadlines, maintain accurate records in Encompass, and proactively resolve issues to ensure successful loan closings.
