About The Position

OwnersChoice Funding is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to manage an assigned pipeline of mortgage loans following underwriting review. The processor owns loan fulfillment from the underwriting decision through final approval, advising borrowers and business partners by interpreting underwriting requirements, providing guidance, and proactively identifying solutions to overcome obstacles. The role coordinates all parties, drives loan progress, tracks outstanding requirements, and ensures loans are processed accurately, efficiently, and within established service standards while delivering a strong borrower experience and maintaining loan quality, compliance, and operational excellence. This is a hybrid remote position requiring work in the Albany, NY office one day a week.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a loan processor or relevant work experience.
• Excellent time-management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Accuracy.
• Customer-satisfaction orientation.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume pipeline while meeting deadlines and service expectations.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of mortgage software.
• Understanding of state and federal loan regulations.
