About The Position

As a Mortgage Loan Processor at Achieve, you will support borrowers through the mortgage application process by communicating updates, collecting and reviewing documentation, and entering information into the Loan Origination System. You will manage a daily pipeline of approved loans, review credit profiles and employment information, track required documents, and work with your team to confirm loan conditions have been met. The role also offers first-hand knowledge and coaching in mortgages.

This is a hybrid role for candidates who reside in the greater Phoenix area. Approximately 90% of work time is remote, with 1–3 days in the Tempe office each month. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• 5 years of mortgage processing experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a continually changing environment.
• Ability to handle a high-volume pipeline while meeting required SLAs.
• Ability to multitask and move quickly between job functions.
• Great communication skills.
• Self-motivation and a positive attitude.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Must reside in the greater Phoenix area.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with borrowers.
• Initiate welcome calls and communicate with borrowers about loan approvals throughout the loan process.
• Enter data into the Loan Origination System based on documentation received.
• Manage a daily pipeline of 70–80 approved loans.
• Review borrower documents for completeness and enter pertinent data into the Loan Origination System.
• Complete third-party validation of the borrower’s employer.
• Review credit profiles for completeness and eligibility.
• Track receipt of borrower-required documents and documents from third-party vendors.
• Collaborate with the team to confirm all conditions have been met for each file.
• Identify ways to improve the borrowing process.
