About The Position
The Mortgage Branch Manager is an integral member of the Lending team and is responsible for driving mortgage production and developing strategies to generate new business. The role requires strong sales skills, in-depth knowledge of mortgage products, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. The manager oversees mortgage operations in the Las Vegas region, including pipeline management and the loan process from application through closing, while ensuring efficient procedures and regulatory compliance. The position also includes leading branch staff, building business relationships, analyzing market trends, and growing revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required.
- An active NMLS license is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in mortgage origination.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build professional relationships with clients, referral partners, and team members.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Calyx Point loan origination software is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities in stated income, conventional, hard money, bridge, non-qualified mortgage, and private lending markets.
- Expand the client base and build relationships with realtors, funders, and other business partners.
- Recruit, train, and mentor loan officers and support staff to achieve sales and production goals.
- Ensure loan applications comply with federal, state, and company guidelines and industry regulations.
- Oversee day-to-day mortgage operations in the Las Vegas region, including pipeline management and loan processing from application through closing.
- Drive branch revenue by meeting and exceeding loan production targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor mortgage market trends and interest rates, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
