About The Position

A Montessori Certified Guide leads a classroom and delivers an authentic Montessori experience that encourages children to be innovative and independent. The role implements the Montessori curriculum and facilitates engaging, interactive learning experiences; follows licensing guidelines and school and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child; observes and assesses children, plans for their needs, and communicates effectively with families; and completes ongoing professional development in Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program.
• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field.
• Meet state education requirements; additional school requirements may apply.

Nice To Haves

• Montessori educator training from a MACTE-accredited program is preferred.
• Previous lead teacher experience is preferred.
