About The Position

Montessori Certified Guides deliver an authentic Montessori experience by encouraging children to be innovative and independent. The role involves implementing the Montessori curriculum, supporting children’s learning and care, observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, communicating with families, and completing ongoing professional development in Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program.
• Meet state education requirements; additional school requirements may apply.
• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field is preferred.
• Previous lead teacher experience is preferred.
• MACTE accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Montessori curriculum and facilitate engaging, interactive learning experiences.
• Follow licensing guidelines and school and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Observe and assess children and plan for their needs.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics.
