About The Position

BASIS Goodyear is seeking a part-time Monitor. The role monitors student activities, including lunches, recesses, parking duty, and the “Early Bird” and “Late Bird” school programs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Salary is competitive and dependent on education and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP).
• Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students to ensure their safety.
• Oversee student behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before and after school.
• Report unruly behavior to school management.
• Inform the supervisor of damage to school property.
• Respond urgently to emergencies, such as injuries or food allergies.
• Exercise sound judgment while carrying out duties.
• Assist with front office support, as applicable.
• Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance.
• Supervise individual students and/or groups of students during structured and unstructured times.
