About The Position

BASIS Prescott is seeking a part-time Monitor for an immediate start. The Monitor oversees students during school activities and programs, including lunches, recesses, parking duty, and the “Early Bird” and “Late Bird” programs. The position is scheduled Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP).
• Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students to ensure their safety.
• Oversee student behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before and after school.
• Report unruly behavior to school management.
• Inform the supervisor of damage to school property.
• Respond urgently to emergencies, including injuries and food allergies.
• Exercise sound judgment while carrying out duties.
• Assist with front office support, as applicable.
• Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance.
• Supervise individual students and groups during structured and unstructured times.
