Monitor Tech/Safety Rounder, Day Shift, Rehab
About The Position
Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Monitor Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Monitor Technician/Safety Rounder you will serve as a Telemonitor for the Avasys fall reduction program, provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients, and verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at risk behaviors. You will immediately notify the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Alternately, you will be capable of providing walking safety rounds of high risk patients to maintain safety.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid Maryland CNA license required
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency on dysrhythmia required
- One year of Monitor Tech experience required
- Strong communication and organization skills required
Nice To Haves
- EKG Certification preferred
Responsibilities
