About The Position
The Monitor Tech works in Baptist Health Floyd’s Central Monitoring Unit and assists nurses in administering patient care through continuous observation of cardiac monitors. The role includes recognizing and documenting cardiac arrhythmias and promptly reporting them to the appropriate nurse and telemetry equipment manager. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible night position working 36 hours weekly, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a hospital dysrhythmia course upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Continuously observe cardiac monitors.
