About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Monitor Tech for its Central Monitoring Unit. The role assists nurses in patient care by continuously observing cardiac monitors, recognizing cardiac arrhythmias, documenting strips, and promptly reporting findings to the appropriate nurse and telemetry equipment manager. This is a part-time position of 12 hours weekly, working nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The position is located at 1850 State Street, New Albany, Indiana.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a hospital dysrhythmia course upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Continuously observe cardiac monitors to assist nurses in administering patient care.
- Recognize cardiac arrhythmias and document strips.
- Promptly report findings to the appropriate nurse and telemetry equipment manager.
