About The Position
The Monitor Tech works in Baptist Health Floyd’s Central Monitoring Unit and assists nurses in administering patient care by continuously observing cardiac monitors. The role includes recognizing and documenting cardiac arrhythmias on strips and promptly reporting findings to the appropriate nurse and telemetry equipment manager. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position working 36 hours weekly on nights, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Requirements
- Successfully complete the hospital dysrhythmia course upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
