About The Position

The Monitor Tech works at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, Alabama, on a full-time night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role involves monitoring patient assignments and records, supporting critical care admissions, and maintaining equipment inventory. The Monitor Tech is expected to complete documentation promptly, promote patient safety and quality, and contribute to positive patient and guest experiences through teamwork.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Inventory equipment at the end of every shift.
• Ensure monitors are assigned to the correct patient and documented correctly.
• Admit critical care patients in the CCU logbook.
• Complete documentation and post it to the medical record in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient and guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
