Monitor Tech/Safety Rounder, Day Shift, Rehab
About The Position
Adventist Rehabilitation - Rockville is seeking to hire a Monitor Technician who will embrace their mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Monitor Tech/Safety Rounder, you will serve as a Telemonitor for the Avasys fall reduction program, providing continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients. You will verbally redirect patients from engaging in at-risk behaviors and immediately notify nursing staff if a patient requires assistance. Alternately, you will be capable of providing walking safety rounds of high-risk patients to maintain safety.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid Maryland CNA license required
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency on dysrhythmia required
- One year of Monitor Tech experience required
- Strong communication and organization skills required
Nice To Haves
- EKG Certification preferred
Responsibilities
