About The Position

Apple is looking for a Module Process Engineer to join the Panel Process and Optics (PPO) Engineering team. This team is responsible for developing new innovative manufacturing process technologies to solve complex design challenges that have a direct impact on future products, quality, and delivery of Apple Displays & Touch technology. The individual in this role will serve as a focal point in the process development of advanced key process modules from the concept/architecture stage through product engineering validation builds. The team works at a fast pace and requires everyone to be highly motivated. A successful candidate needs to be a flexible thinker and be able to problem solve outside of their respective technical area.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree minimum in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science or related field.
• 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in leading a project from early development to high volume production.
• Experience in the development of module processes & its integration in back-end processes of Flat Panel Display & Touch industry or other related industries.
• Experience in DOE, data analysis, or SPC control.
• Experience in failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality issue.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. or M.S. degree in Physics, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering in related field.
• Project Management Skills- Excellent data handling, documentation, critical milestone creation, and organization skill.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability.
• Ability for International business travel to support project implementation and collaborate with external vendors for product manufacturing.
