Modular Construction Supervisor - 1st Shift - Fenton - South
About The Position
Miller Industries is seeking a highly motivated Modular Construction Supervisor to lead the assembly and construction of modular mechanical equipment rooms at its South location in Fenton, Michigan. The role oversees daily production while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The supervisor monitors performance, coaches and guides team members, maintains production and employee-performance documentation, enforces company policies and OSHA requirements, resolves floor issues, and participates in planning and continuous improvement initiatives. The position is on-site, full time, on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed for production.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in building, residential, or modular construction.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural or construction drawings, blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work on-site full time on first shift, Monday through Friday.
Nice To Haves
- Strong understanding of modular electrical systems, construction methods, or HVAC/mechanical systems.
- Technical or trade school certification.

- Troubleshoot issues on the floor and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Participate in planning meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
