Modernization Supervisor
About The Position
KONE is hiring a Modernization Supervisor to manage local modernization operations in the San Leandro/Bay Area, California. The role involves leading a team at complex job sites, ensuring sites are ready each day, and making safety a top priority. The supervisor will support team learning, manage schedules, track overall performance, and collaborate across the organization to achieve business goals. The Modernization Supervisor will review bid documents and survey requirements for upcoming modernization jobs with salespeople. They will manage job financials, resources, and profitability. KONE seeks someone with construction or service expertise and supervisory experience, ideally leading a union-represented workforce, who is motivated to learn a new field and use new technologies. Requirements
- At least 2 years of construction or service expertise.
- Supervisory experience; experience leading a union-represented workforce is ideal.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field or at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to manage schedules and track team performance.
- Ability to handle financials and resources to support job profitability.
- Interest in learning and leveraging new technologies.
