Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving South Shore, Massachusetts, including Plymouth, New Bedford, Marshfield, Middleborough, Kingston, Wareham, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes during meaningful end-of-life moments. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. The posting also lists additional benefits available to full-time team members.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
