Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in South Shore, Massachusetts, including Plymouth, New Bedford, Marshfield, Middleborough, Kingston, Wareham, and surrounding areas. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with a focus on meaningful, un-rushed care and a schedule designed to support personal well-being. Veterinarians typically see an average of three to four appointments per day. The veterinarian works independently in the field while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time schedules are available for two to five days per week. Two-day-per-week opportunities have a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, with bonus opportunities and benefits; full-time compensation details are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must pass a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their start date.
