Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time Mobile Veterinarian serving Naples, Ft Myers, Pelican Bay, Estero, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Florida, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four un-rushed appointments per day, and opportunities to practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are also described, with compensation details available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must undergo a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
