About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring an in-home Associate Veterinarian serving Orlando, Winter Garden, Winter Park, Lake Hart, Kissimmee, Oviedo, Florida, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, typically with three to four un-rushed appointments per day, and is supported by comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, experienced leaders, dedicated practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Full-time opportunities are available on three-, four-, and five-day schedules, as well as part-time opportunities on a three-day schedule. Compensation depends on schedule: four-day positions start at $117,500, and five-day positions offer a $140,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
