About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Tucson, Oro Valley, Vail, Sahuarita, Corona De Tucson, Arizona, and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Candidates must be available to work some weekends and meet the stated lifting requirements. A background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted post-hire and before the associated start date.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
