Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Indianapolis, Indiana, including Greenwood, Zionsville, Carmel, Fishers, Avon, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week; full-time schedules of three, four, or five days are also available, with compensation details provided upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must complete a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in a mobile setting.
- Travel to appointments in Indianapolis and surrounding communities.
- Be available to work some weekends.
