About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time Mobile Veterinarian serving San Jose, California, including Santa Clara, Morgan Hill, Los Gatos, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, an average of three to four appointments per day, comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Lap of Love is veterinarian-founded and owned, and the veterinarian practices independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Two-day-per-week opportunities in the listed service area offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
