Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Worcester, Auburn, Shrewsbury, Westborough, Holden, Grafton, Massachusetts, and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently in the community while receiving onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent: DVM, VMD, or BVMS.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
