The Mobile Service Technician responds to roadside and on-site service calls in a fully equipped service truck. The role involves servicing tires for passenger vehicles, light trucks, commercial trucks, and industrial equipment, along with diagnosing tire-related issues and performing light mechanical repairs as needed. Technicians inspect tires and wheels, conduct fleet inspections and preventative maintenance checks when required, and use TPMS and other diagnostic tools. They maintain their truck and equipment, follow applicable safety and traffic requirements, communicate clearly with customers, and assist with warehouse or shop work when not responding to service calls. Work may involve varying weather and road conditions, and possible overtime.
