About The Position

This is an as-needed, independent-contractor role performing in-home blood draws. The phlebotomist sets and updates their own availability, receives notifications when a patient in their area requests a draw during an available time, and may accept or decline each offer. There are no set shifts, minimum or maximum hours, guaranteed number of draws, or full-time commitment. Patient demand is concentrated on weekday mornings and early afternoons, with little to no current demand for evenings, weekends, or holidays. The role offers $50 per completed draw, plus mileage compensation when applicable, and is intended to provide flexible supplemental income.

Requirements

• Active phlebotomy certification.
• At least six months of current, relevant work experience, in addition to instructional hours completed while obtaining certification.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Fluency in English.
• A smartphone with internet access.

Responsibilities

• Set and upload available time slots to the calendar.
• Update availability as needed without maintaining a set schedule.
• Review patient details and accept or decline offered in-home blood draws.
• Complete accepted blood draws.
