About The Position
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated Mobile Phlebotomist to complete insurance medical exams in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and surrounding areas. This is a mobile position: the office is in the employee’s home, and the employee travels to meet clients. The schedule is flexible; the phlebotomist sets their own hours and decides how much to work. This is an independent contract position.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of practical phlebotomy experience.
- Live in Michigan.
- Experience taking vitals, including height, weight, and blood pressure readings.
- Computer literate.
- Detail-oriented and very organized.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to pass a federal background check.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in phlebotomy, nursing, or another related field.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Collect and store blood samples from patients.
- Distribute samples to designated departments.
- Monitor storage and inventory of supplies.
- Maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions.
- Complete insurance medical exams for clients in the assigned area.
