About The Position

The Driver delivers vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and on time to appropriate destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The role transports fleet cars and vans between rental locations, follows written directions, and may involve local or out-of-area deliveries. The position is located at 2720 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512, pays $14.25 per hour, and offers a consistent full-time 40-hour-per-week schedule. The available schedule is Monday 8 a.m.–6 p.m., Tuesday 8 a.m.–3 p.m., Wednesday off, Thursday 11 a.m.–5 p.m., Friday 8 a.m.–6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations.
Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road.
Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to appropriate destinations.
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
Clean vehicles as requested.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
