About The Position

Northeast Security, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer/Mobile Patrol Officer for its Cambridge, Massachusetts site. The role involves monitoring security concierge personnel, supporting guest services, maintaining compliance with facility procedures and location policies, and communicating effectively with assigned security staff. Applicants must pass a five-year driving-record check with no more than two moving violations. Positions are contingent on eligibility, availability, background screening, drug testing, and completion of orientation; positions may be rescinded if background requirements are not met.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Pass a five-year driving-record check with no more than two moving violations.
Basic computer knowledge.
Meet applicant eligibility requirements and pass background screening and drug testing; complete orientation.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional appearance and remain on post at all times.
Monitor security concierge personnel to ensure guest services are satisfactory.
Provide general administrative support, respond to inquiries, and anticipate customer needs.
Ensure security concierge personnel understand and perform their duties in compliance with facility security operations procedures and location policies, procedures, and regulations.
Review and approve reports, duty logs, and other submissions from security personnel.
Ensure timely notification of serious incidents.
Maintain effective communications with assigned security personnel.
Provide a memorable and pleasant experience to customers and vendors.
Counsel, advise, motivate, and, when necessary, discipline personnel; provide positive reinforcement.
Work with management to develop and implement employee relations, development, and retention programs for the location.
Keep assigned security personnel up to date on changes to procedures, policies, or regulations.
Perform other duties as required by the client or Northeast Security, Inc.
