Part-Time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist
About The Position
APPS Paramedical is seeking quality medical professionals to complete insurance physical exams on a mobile basis in the Kirkland/Redmond areas. These exams are performed on behalf of insurance companies for individuals applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. The role involves blood draws, medical histories, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12-lead EKGs. Independent contractors (ICs) are expected to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision, while adhering to compliance, safety, accuracy, and confidentiality policies. Exams can range from 15 minutes to over an hour in duration.
Requirements
- Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
- Familiarity with tablets/computers.
- Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification is required.
- Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- References will be checked.
- Background check will be conducted.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual applicants are encouraged.
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
- EKG experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
