About The Position

MedQuest Associates, a partner of Novant Health, is seeking a Mobile Mammography Technologist for the Charlotte Metro area. This role involves operating mobile mammography units, performing mammograms, and providing high-quality imaging services to patients at diverse locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient care skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work autonomously in a mobile environment.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
ARRT certification in Mammography (M) required
Completed required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
Active state licensure, where applicable
0 to 2+ years of experience as a Mammography (M) Technologist
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel

Experience with mobile mammography units

Responsibilities

Operate mobile mammography equipment to perform high-quality mammograms
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards
Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on equipment
Travel to various locations as required, including community centers, workplaces, and healthcare facilities
Educate patients about the mammography process and answer any questions they may have
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
