About The Position

Requirements

  • Independently licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT).
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in a Human Services related field such as psychology or social work.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of behavioral health counseling experience.
  • Must present as courteous and professional at all times.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas logically and clearly.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others.
  • TB screening.
  • Certification in the HPTC approved de-escalation program.
  • Strong and effective verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs, including the ability to learn, use, and train HPTC's electronic medical records.
  • Ability to provide leadership and program development within an outpatient site.
  • Knowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and behavioral health best practices.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Some experience with youth communities is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the program clinical director in developing and implementing program goals and objectives to meet performance specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Program Clinical Director to ensure compliance with all leadership functions, including clinical and administrative oversight, and patient quality of care activities.
  • Implement and review policies and procedures regularly.
  • Monitor the adequacy and appropriateness of patient care.
  • Develop in-service training for staff in collaboration with training coordinators.
  • Establish a quality management program in conjunction with the Clinical Program Director, Director of CQI, and quality team.
  • Ensure clinical activities align with HPTC’s written plans for quality assurance, utilization review/management, and staff growth and development.
  • Provide supervision to program staff and maintain supervisory notes.
  • Deliver direct services to patients, including evaluations, individual, group, and/or family counseling, crisis management, and aftercare planning.
  • Participate in assigned committees and prepare reports as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments/facilities to enhance and ensure quality care.
  • Participate in budget development and monthly review processes.
  • Routinely review patient charts (open and closed) to ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
  • Manage advertising, interviewing, hiring, and training of all new clinical and support staff.
  • Participate in RFR processes to maintain current programming and develop new programming.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence for licensing and accreditation boards.
  • Collaborate and participate in meetings with other community organizations to improve communication and service delivery.
  • Provide ongoing clinical and daily administration of the Outpatient Program to ensure quality care.
  • Ensure confidentiality in accordance with 42 CFR part 2 and HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Program Director, Site Director, and/or COO.
