About The Position

Clarke is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician / Truck Mechanic for a flexible day shift schedule, working either 4 days (Mon-Thur) or 5 days (Mon-Fri). This role involves operating a service truck and performing onsite maintenance and repairs for customers. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician.
• Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (i.e., DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship.
• Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card.
• Good computer skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate or Degree from Diesel Program.
• CDL is a HUGE plus!

Responsibilities

• Service and repair work on engines, drive trains, steering, electrical systems, suspension, and brakes.
• Perform troubleshooting and inspections.
• Conduct preventative maintenance.
• Operate a mobile service truck daily.
• Perform onsite maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
