About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health is hiring a Mobile Crisis Coordinator for its Community Regional Crisis Response (CR2) team in Northern Virginia. CR2 is a community-based crisis stabilization program that provides immediate behavioral health support to people experiencing mental health crises. Through rapid response, assessment, counseling, safety planning, and care coordination, the team helps individuals and families navigate crises while reducing the need for emergency room visits, psychiatric hospitalization, and law enforcement involvement. The coordinator provides crisis intervention and clinical support in homes, schools, community settings, and other environments where behavioral health emergencies occur. The role works with families, providers, and community partners to assess needs, develop stabilization plans, coordinate ongoing services, and support individuals in moving safely toward recovery. The service area includes Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties. The position is full-time, with three 12-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and one 4-hour shift each week. It also participates in a shared 24/7/365 on-call rotation, including phone and in-person crisis response. Compensation is $60,000–$65,000 annually for license-eligible clinicians and $55,000–$58,000 annually for QMHP candidates. Full-time, license-eligible new hires may receive a $10,000 sign-on/retention bonus paid at 90 days, six months, and one year of employment. The work is community-based and involves travel throughout the Northern Virginia service area. Benefits-eligible positions may include paid time off and holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage, an FSA, life and disability insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan, an Employee Assistance Program and legal services, professional development and training, paid in-house supervision toward LCSW or LPC licensure, mileage reimbursement, and additional annual stipends as grant funding permits.
