About The Position

AREA15 is an immersive entertainment and event destination blending art and music. The Mixologist services the John Wick Experience Bar by crafting signature cocktails and delivering service that brings the John Wick world to life for guests. The role focuses on creating an excellent visitor experience while complying with Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) requirements in a fast-paced, high-energy, upscale environment. The Mixologist applies knowledge of flavor profiles, spirits, ingredients, and mixology to craft and experiment with drinks, create unique offerings, and drive beverage sales. The position also supports the immersive theme through guest interaction, themed service, and participation in promotional and event activities.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience crafting alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a high-volume craft beverage venue.
Extensive knowledge of traditional and trending spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and crafted cocktails.
Excellent guest-service skills.
Valid Health, Alcohol Awareness, and Non-Gaming work cards.
Ability to maintain personal integrity, focus, and composure under pressure.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Self-motivated and willing to learn.
Willingness to participate in social media posting and have photographs taken.
Willingness to participate in venue-related acting or role-playing when needed.
Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance and hygiene in accordance with company policy.
Ability to consistently create an upbeat environment.
Strong emotional intelligence and ability to connect with customers, make suggestions, and drive sales.

Responsibilities

Set up the bar for full operation and ensure supplies, products, and tools are ready.
Master recipes and craft and serve beverages while following the sequence of service.
Learn and maintain thorough knowledge of the John Wick Experience theme, storyline, and signature cocktail menu to provide an authentic guest experience.
Deliver service and interact with guests in a manner aligned with the experience’s tone and theme, including in-character or role-play elements as directed.
Contribute to new themed cocktails and seasonal menu offerings with Attractions Beverage leadership.
Coordinate with Attractions Operations and Attractions Beverage leadership to support guest flow, capacity, and timing.
Train and support Apprentice Mixologists on recipes, techniques, and service standards.
Handle credit transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with SNHD standards.
Count products accurately before and at the end of every shift.
Monitor potentially intoxicated or disruptive guests and promptly raise concerns with a manager.
Respond to guest concerns and complaints, resolve issues positively, and escalate when appropriate.
Provide guests with accurate information about the John Wick Experience, venues, menus, and pricing.
Communicate effectively with employees at all levels and with visitors.
Participate in promotional activities, including posing for pictures, wearing uniforms or designated logo apparel, and engaging in marketing efforts.
Wear costumes and participate in events, movie showings, and themed parties to enhance the experience.
Demonstrate AREA15 service standards in every guest interaction.
Follow department and company policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional, polished appearance in accordance with AREA15 standards.
Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
