About The Position

The Mixologist creates memorable and unique guest experiences through beverage service and broader hospitality. The role calls for staying current with trends, micro-local offerings, and evolving guest needs, while serving as a host of the space and taking ownership of guest service beyond the bar. The Mixologist uses beverage knowledge and expertise to keep the bar operating and looking flawless, builds relationships across the hotel and in the community, and anticipates and delivers on guest needs. Attention to detail is important in handling money, providing information to guests, and ensuring drink quality.

The position also requires creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, protecting company assets, maintaining confidentiality, and keeping a professional uniform and appearance. The work involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and performing hands-on tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, as well as reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable job duties may be requested.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
