About The Position

The Mixing Plant Hand assists the Mixing Plant Operator with rig-up and rig-down procedures and chemical mixing. The role involves maintaining equipment during operations, tracking daily chemical inventory and usage, and strapping frac tanks as needed. The position follows company health, safety, and environmental policies and uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. It also requires driving company vehicles on highways, rural paved and gravel roads, and off-road two-track roads. The work may involve wet or humid conditions, extreme heat or cold, moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and moderate to loud noise.

Requirements

• Ability to clear or pass pre-employment screening, testing, and job-relevant hiring requirements.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States, as required by law.
• Able to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision.
• Able to work in wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat or cold.
• Able to work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and moderate to loud noise while consistently using appropriate PPE.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of six months of experience working rotational shifts, in inclement weather, and/or in manual labor is preferred.
• Class A CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Mixing Plant Operator with rig-up and rig-down procedures and chemical mixing.
• Rig up and maintain equipment during operations.
• Keep daily chemical inventory and usage records.
• Strap frac tanks as needed and perform other tasks assigned by the Mixing Plant Operator.
• Follow and support all AWS HSE policies.
• Know and use appropriate PPE at all times.
• Drive company vehicles on highways, rural roads, paved and gravel surfaces, and off-road two-track roads.
