About The Position

The Mixing Plant Hand assists the Mixing Plant Operator with rig-up and rig-down procedures and chemical mixing. The role involves setting up and maintaining equipment during operations, tracking chemical inventory and usage, and strapping frac tanks as needed. The Mixing Plant Hand follows AWS health, safety, and environmental policies and uses appropriate personal protective equipment. The position also requires driving company vehicles on highways, rural paved and gravel roads, and off-road two-track roads.

Requirements

• A minimum of six months of experience in rotational shift work, inclement weather work, and/or manual labor is preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Basic problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, testing, and job-relevant hiring requirements.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States, as required by law.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Close, distance, and color vision abilities.
• Ability to work in wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat or cold.

• Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Mixing Plant Operator with rig-up and rig-down procedures.
• Assist with mixing chemicals.
• Rig up and maintain equipment through operations.
• Maintain daily chemical inventory and usage records.
• Strap frac tanks as needed.
• Follow and support AWS HSE policies at all times.
• Know and use appropriate PPE at all times.
• Drive company vehicles over highways, rural roads, paved and gravel surfaces, and off-road two-track roads.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Mixing Plant Operator.
