About The Position

AKWEL is seeking a Mixing Operator for its Cadillac Plant in Cadillac, Michigan. The operator undertakes manufacturing and/or packaging of parts in accordance with production quality and output requirements, while following current operating instructions and management instructions. This is a regular full-time position. The plant is described as a stable, indoor, year-round workplace in a modern industrial setting, and basic tools and equipment are provided. The role requires preserving the secrecy and confidentiality of systems and data accessible in the normal course of work. AKWEL describes its culture as stable, people-oriented, and team-oriented.

Requirements

Literacy skills and numeracy proficiency in the local language.

Responsibilities

Manufacture and/or package parts to meet production quality and output requirements while following operating and management instructions.
Ensure part quality, including through self-inspection, in accordance with the associated operating instructions.
Maintain the appropriate production pace to ensure on-time delivery of required parts.
Report defects or nonconformities detected in raw materials, parts, or production tools according to current procedures or operating instructions.
Ensure product traceability.
Perform production-related tasks as directed, such as sorting, supplying lines, or inventory work.
Ensure personal and colleagues’ safety.
Keep the workstation clean and tidy.
Contribute to the induction of a new member at the workstation when required.
Follow Group procedures and operating instructions for Quality, Safety, and Environment within the scope of the role.
Preserve the secrecy and confidentiality of systems and data accessed in the normal course of the role.
