About The Position
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Bussers to join its team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The Busser demonstrates strong time-management skills, sets priorities, and responds to changing needs in the dining room. The role is suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing exceptional guest service. Delaware North is the food, beverage, and retail provider at Little Caesars Arena, a 20,000-seat venue that is home to the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons. Its services include concessions and premium dining in club areas, loge boxes, and suites.
Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to lift, balance, and move food trays weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions; work may include walking up and down stairs.
- Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a Runner or Busser is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Check in with management for daily assignments and attend pre-shift briefings.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room.
- Remove dishes, silverware, and empty glasses from guest tables between courses and after guests depart.
- Reset tables according to the floor plan or management instructions.
- Assist with counting china, glassware, silverware, and linen.
