About The Position

Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a Mitigation Technician to help homeowners restore their homes and peace of mind after unexpected damage. This entry-level role responds to properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damage. The technician learns restoration skills, supports customers during challenging situations, and works as part of a team. The position involves performing restoration and cleanup work under supervision, delivering quality work and empathetic customer service, and participating in an on-call schedule. Hours are listed as 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday, or 8 am–5 pm, Friday–Tuesday.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Written and verbal fluency in English.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, twist, pull, push, reach, and stoop for 8–12+ hours per day.
• Ability to work in potentially extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform restoration and cleanup work, such as water mitigation, board-up, and mold remediation, under supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout each project.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and equipment.
• Assist with setting up equipment and preparing materials for removal or storage.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment used on the job.
• Participate in an on-call schedule and remain reachable as needed.
• Support warehouse and facility tasks when required.
• Assist with demolition of damaged materials.
