About The Position

As a Technician, you respond to restoration and disaster recovery projects and work as part of a team to help restore homes, businesses, and other properties. You assist with project and demolition site activities, following established procedures and using industry-specific tools and equipment safely and effectively. The work varies across projects and contributes to helping customers recover after unexpected events.

You work alongside teammates to complete assigned tasks, maintain clean and organized work areas, follow First Onsite policies and procedures, and use basic computer skills for documentation and project communications. You learn and apply proper techniques for operating restoration equipment and tools. Safety is a priority, including compliance with company safety programs, safe work practices, and applicable legislative requirements.

Requirements

• Possess or be able to obtain Water Mitigation Certification within one year.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and project communications.

Nice To Haves

• Restoration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water, fire, and mold mitigation, light demolition, and equipment setup.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and response-ready company vehicles.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe job site.
• Support project documentation, photos, and daily reports.
• Track expenses and time, and complete necessary work orders.
• Perform physical labor, debris removal, and material handling.
• Provide flexible support across multiple service lines.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow company policies and procedures.
