About The Position

Clean Response provides property restoration services after fires, floods, and similar disasters by cleaning, drying, and rebuilding damaged properties. The Mitigation Technician trains with an experienced team and supports emergency restoration work at the Des Moines location. The role involves equipment and warehouse preparation, facility upkeep, general labor, and assisting with dry-down procedures and mold remediation in residential and commercial settings. Technicians must drive and be available for a rotating on-call week, including nights and weekends, approximately every five to six weeks. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered, with $1,250 paid at month three and $1,250 at month six.

Requirements

Ability to perform manual and physical labor, including heavy lifting; must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as verified by the DMV.
Availability and willingness to work overtime, flexible hours, and respond to emergency situations.
Demonstrated ability to run production.
Ability to use hand tools and electric tools safely and effectively.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Restoration industry experience and solid skills; training will be provided for candidates without this experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain equipment daily, including cleaning, repairing, and checking equipment in and out.
Complete inventory of supplies needed in the warehouse.
Prepare equipment and supplies for emergency jobs.
Serve as the point person for facility repairs, maintenance, and cleaning needs.
Perform general labor at job sites, including emergency projects.
Assist with dry-down procedures and mold remediation in residential and commercial settings.
Drive as required and be available for a rotating on-call week approximately every five to six weeks, including nights and weekends.
