Mitigation Technician
About The Position
Paul Davis Mitigation Technicians are on the front lines of restoring communities after disasters, arriving first at properties affected by events such as floods and fires and leading mitigation efforts. The role involves performing restoration services, including water mitigation, tarping, board-up, mold remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, and carpet cleaning and reinstallation, in accordance with company and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager. Technicians serve customers during difficult circumstances with empathy, urgency, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The position also includes maintaining company vehicles and equipment, participating in the on-call schedule, assisting with warehouse and facility tasks, and supporting teammates as needed. Paul Davis provides paid training and opportunities to develop expertise through industry certifications and Paul Davis University.
Requirements

- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently.
- Desire to continually learn new things.
Responsibilities
- Perform water mitigation, tarping, board-up, mold remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, and carpet cleaning and reinstallation services according to Paul Davis and industry specifications, under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service to people experiencing property disasters.
- Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized truck and maintain company equipment.
- Be accessible by phone and participate in the on-call schedule as necessary.
- Assist with warehousing and facility-related tasks when necessary.
- Assist other team members and provide leadership for the team when needed.
