About The Position

The Mitigation Technician serves community members after property disasters, helping lead mitigation efforts to restore properties damaged by events such as floods and fires. The role performs mitigation and related restoration services under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager, while providing empathetic, responsive customer service. Technicians work with a team and may assist with warehousing and facility tasks, maintain company vehicles and equipment, and participate in an on-call schedule. Paul Davis offers paid training and opportunities to develop expertise through industry training, certifications, and Paul Davis University.

Requirements

Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

Perform water mitigation, tarping, board-up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement, and carpet cleaning or reinstallation according to Paul Davis and industry specifications, under the Mitigation Manager’s supervision.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate empathetically with customers affected by property disasters.
Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized truck and maintain company equipment.
Be accessible by phone and participate in the on-call schedule as necessary.
Assist with warehousing and facility-related tasks when necessary.
Assist other team members when opportunities arise and provide leadership for the team when needed.
