About The Position

Paul Davis is seeking a Mitigation Technician to help restore properties after disasters such as floods and fires. Technicians are often first on site and lead mitigation efforts, serving customers in difficult circumstances with empathy, urgency, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The work includes water mitigation, tarping, board-up, mold remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, and carpet cleaning and reinstallation, performed according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager. The role also includes maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized truck and company equipment; participating in the on-call schedule; assisting with warehouse and facility tasks; and supporting teammates as needed. Paul Davis offers paid training, industry training and certifications, and opportunities to develop expertise through Paul Davis University.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently.
Desire to continually learn new things.

Responsibilities

Perform water mitigation, tarping, board-up, mold remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, and carpet cleaning and reinstallation according to Paul Davis and industry specifications.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate with empathy and urgency.
Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized truck and maintain company equipment.
Be accessible by phone and participate in the on-call schedule as necessary.
Assist with warehousing and facility-related tasks when necessary.
Support other team members and act as a leader for the team when needed.
