About The Position

United Property Restoration Services is seeking Mitigation Technicians to join its established and growing restoration general contracting team. The company specializes in rebuilding and restoring residential buildings after floods, fires, and other natural disasters and emphasizes its CARE AT WORK philosophy, company culture, and team dynamic.

Mitigation Technicians travel to damaged homes and businesses to support cleanup and restoration of water- and mold-damaged property. They serve as first responders in property loss situations and help mitigate damage in residential and commercial structures.

Requirements

• Be self-motivated, reliable, and a team player.
• Have strong customer service skills.
• Be available for emergency services on nights, weekends, and holidays, and participate in rotating on-call coverage.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Be able to lift or move more than 50 pounds.
• Have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Be able to learn cleaning solutions, mixtures, cleaning techniques, and water loss procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in mitigation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform water damage mitigation.
• Provide structural board-up and security.
• Perform on-location cleaning.
• Conduct microbial remediation.
• Pack out, process, deodorize, store, and handle contents.
